TORONTO, December 7, 2023 – Global News and Canada’s most-watched late national morning show, The Morning Show, is thrilled to welcome television personality, Morgan Hoffman, to its lineup. Starting on December 11, Hoffman will be the new Entertainment Reporter for TMS and Global News, delivering segments on the hottest entertainment stories, celebrity gossip and more.

“I am thrilled to welcome Morgan to The Morning Show and Global News,” says Jordan Schwartz, Head of Global News Morning Programming. “Her unique, inquisitive and warm approach to interviewing celebrities is a skill that allows them to open up to her. I know our viewers will benefit from her insight and vast experience in the world of entertainment news.”

Morgan’s passion for pop culture has taken her from red carpets and cities around the world to interview some of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, Dolly Parton, Alicia Keys, Ryan Reynolds, Margot Robbie, Simu Liu, and Pamela Anderson.

A two-time Canadian Screen Awards winner for best host, Morgan’s first broadcast will have her joining TMS co-hosts, Jeff McArthur and Carolyn Mackenzie, kicking off the 2024 award season with live reaction to that morning’s Golden Globe nominations.

Morgan will also have an exclusive sit-down interview with actor Mark Wahlberg in New York that will air across the Global News broadcast network the week of December 11.
