Over the past two weeks, 11 of Canada’s elite Para athletes have been nominated to the Canadian Paralympic Team for the Paris 2024 Paralympics that will take August 28 to September 8 in Paris, France. Canada is expecting to send a team of approximately 140 athletes to the Games.

The Paris 2024 Paralympics are on track to be the most gender-balanced Paralympics in history, with an expected 45% of athletes being women, surpassing the historic record of 42% achieved at Tokyo 2020.
