NFL fans convinced TV station ‘leaked’ Super Bowl teams after spotting ‘script’

FOOTBALL fans reckon the Super Bowl ‘script’ has been leaked by a television station.

A report from Canadian station CTV News apparently seemed to confirm which teams will play on Sunday, February 11.

That’s despite the conference championships still yet to take place to decide who goes to the dance.

The Super Bowl will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada in February.

The Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions are the last four remaining teams.

But apparently it’s already been decided, according to CTV News footage.

A report from the station on Thursday, January 18 confirmed the halftime and national anthem performers for the game.

The script read, “Reba McEntire, Usher and Post Malone are slated to perform at San Francisco 49ers & Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl match-up on February 11.”

But the 49ers and Ravens are both far from assured of their places in the big game.

One fan replied, “Been put out there for a while. The NFL Super Bowl conspiracy theory. This would just confirm that theory.”

Some also suggested the report was a fake as it circulated on social media.

NFL fans spotted an insane trend in the Super Bowl logos earlier this season.

Football lovers claimed the teams had already been decided for Las Vegas as early as November.

The colors of the Super Bowl logo over the last couple seasons have matched those of the teams.

Two years ago, the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

And the logo for that particular game was yellow and orange.

Last year’s Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona featured a red and green color scheme.

And the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 on that occasion.

This year’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada has a red and purple color scheme on the official logo.

And that led many to speculate that the 49ers will take on the Ravens in the showpiece season finale.
